Description

INFUJECTION is an advanced composite moulding technology that uses vacuum-assisted resin injection, combining the advantages of infusion and closed-mould RTM.

The infujection process involves placing dry fibres (carbon fibre, glass fibre), technical inserts and foam cores into a rigid mould or on a workbench. Once the composite reinforcements are in place, the mould is closed and sealed completely.

The thermosetting resin (epoxy, polyester or vinyl ester) is then injected under the combined effect of controlled pressure and vacuum-generated suction, ensuring uniform impregnation of the reinforcement fabrics and an excellent fibre content.

This closed-mould vacuum injection moulding technology guarantees:

  • a high-quality finish,
  • excellent performance mechanics,
  • a precise control of the lamination of the composite,
  • reliable production of medium-volume runs.

INFUJECTION is particularly well suited to technical composite parts, lightweight structures and demanding applications in industry, transport, marine engineering and high-performance sport.
